NCD Request Letter

This 2021 letter, drafted to Tamara Syrek Jensen, JD, Director of the Coverage and Analysis Group at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services from the American Heart Association and American Medical Association, submitted a formal request for a National Coverage Determination (NCD) for validated self-measured blood pressure (SMBP) monitoring devices for the diagnosis and management of hypertension for Medicare beneficiaries.
